Nigeria’s Ayo ‘wizkid’ Balogun Wins Grammy For ‘brown Skin Girl’Today, the 14th day of March 2021 Nigerian-born and bred Singer, Wizkid wins ‘Best Music Video’ at the 63rd Grammy Award for his role on ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
Ayo Balogun wins the award alongside Beyonce. The song also featured artists, Saint Jhn and Blue Ivy. The award will also go to Jenn Nkiru who directed the video.
Made for, and featured on Beyonce’s Lion King: The Gift album, featuring other Nigerian artists. As of the time of this win, the video has over 31 million views on YouTube.
