Matins Okey Justice aka J. Martins, a sonorous, multiple award-winning Nigerian-born songwriter, producer, and musician, is commemorating the 2022 International Women’s Day (IWD) with the release of a new tune and video.
J. Martins‘ new single, “Oyimma” is laced with African-inspired rhythmical percussions and was written and produced entirely by him in his characteristic manner.
“Oyimma” visualizes the story of a modest young man in love with a sophisticated lady in his neighborhood who, since he feels inferior to her, chooses to convey his feelings through elaborately worded lyrics that depict his innermost emotion.
J. Martins‘ management company, Orion Music Global, noted in a press release that the “Oyimma” video was partly shot in Zanzibar and Lagos, Nigeria, with some of the greatest technology available, resulting in the video consuming a significant amount of time and resources.
Uriel and Pere, both of Big Brother Naija, casted in the video and they did justice to the storyline.
“Oyimma” is now available for streaming on all digital platforms.
