On “Not So Bad (Lean’s Gone Cold), Rae Sremmurd flip London singer-songwriter Dido’s iconic “Thank You”, more popularly known as the sample off Eminem’s “Stan”.

The song was originally previewed by Swae Lee in an a-capella snippet in September of 2022. The snippet went viral online, causing mass anticipation for the song’s release, however in an October 2022 interview, Swae confirmed he was yet to receive sample clearance from Dido to be able to release the track.

Following Dido clearing the record for other rappers such as French Montana and Millyz, Swae confirmed through a March 2023 Instagram Story that the record had been cleared, saying:

I just got the biggest sample cleared for the Album 😳 😳!!! YOU SHITTING ME !!!!!!!! Y’all ain’t gone believe this
