Chocolate city Chairman Jude Abaga popularly known in Music circles as M.I might have just given us a clue to one of the biggest moves so far of 2017 in the Nigerian music scene. The label boss who has been off the music scenes fully for sometime now as he is focused more on nurturing and promoting acts signed to the Chocolate City music group recently dropped a hint on a new acts who might be joining the family soon.
He recently retweeted “A letter to the mentors” a currently trending single by DCMG goons Tega X Emperor which has seen rave reviews by various Nigerian music blogs and word on the street is that talks could be held concerning a management deal and the addition of Tega X Emperor to the Chocolate city music group family.
It is on record that a “letter to the mentors” which has been touted as one of the most positively faceted songs of 2016 holds the record for the most downloads for an upcoming artiste within 24 hours and we definitely see a bright future for Tega X Emperor which the news leak of an offer from the Chocolate city music group is anything to go by.
