Lauren Spencer-Smith released her new single “Fingers Crossed” on Jan. 5, and in less than 24 hours the emotional song hit No. 1 on the overall iTunes chart in the US and No. 2 on the global chart. The song has already garnered more than 1 million streams on Spotify.

When the Canadian singer previewed the song, written by Francisca Hall, Jakke Erixson and Lauren, on Tik Tok last month, the clip eventually racked up over 22 million views. Over 114K Tik Tokers across the world have used the sound.

Those are impressive statistics for the American Idol season 18 alum who left the competition at the Top 20. Her first original single, “Back to Friends”  racked up over 600,000 streams on Spotify. over 50K plays on Youtube in its first week, July 2021. Currently, the song has amassed over 14M streams on Spotify.
