The 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards are gearing up to honour the brightest stars in the genre, and Burna Boy is up for seven nominations.
He’s nominated for the categories of Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his chart-topping hit, ‘Sitting On Top Of The World,’ featuring 21 Savage. This comes hot on the heels of his seventh studio album release, ‘I Told Them.’ In addition to these nominations, Burna Boy is also vying for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, and Hustler of the Year, showcasing his versatility and influence in the industry.

These nominations come in the wake of Burna Boy’s seventh studio album release, “I Told Them.” The awards ceremony will take place in Atlanta and will be broadcast on October 10 at 9 p.m. EST.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards will recognize excellence in various categories, including music videos, collaborations, lyricism, albums, production, featured verses, and more within the hip-hop genre.
