Banky W got a piece of the pressure and negatives that comes from declaring an interest to run for a political office over the weekend. A certain Facebook user by name Chidinma, through her account poured out her displeasure at an event that involved Banky W at a centre that has to do with the collection of Permanent Voter’s Card in the Lekki area of Lagos.
The pained Nigerian expressed her displeasure at the disregard Banky had for the crowd who were already lined up under the hot sun hours before Banky W came in to collect their PVC. She said as soon as he came to the centre, he just went in immediately without following due process like an average Nigerian should do, using his celebrity status to debunk normalcy.
She however said she does not have anything against his political ambition and infact, wished the singer and actor well in his political ambition. But she also said in order for him to become a different person to what is being seen in the political sector, he has to make the ordinary people feel they are no different to him.
Meanwhile, Banky W has come out to tender his apology to the lady and further explained what actually transpired on that day.
