Paul tragically died in the midst of raising money to help victims of the terrible Philippines typhoon. Now Universal Pictures is honoring Paul by donating a portion of the profits from the DVD release of ‘Fast & Furious 6? to the late actor’s disaster-relief charity, Reach Out Worldwide.

Paul touched so many lives before his untimely death — and now his friends at Universal Pictures have found a fitting way to pay homage to the Fast & Furious star’s kind and giving nature.
Reach Out Worldwide, which Paul formed after he helped victims of the massive earthquakes that devastated Haiti in Jan. 2010, was so dear to the late actor’s heart, and this is such a moving gesture to make in his memory.
The studio’s press release reads:
“With the passing of Paul, the world has lost a man who spent a great deal of his life in service to others. We share in the deep grief of his family, friends and the countless fans who love him,” said Donna Langley, Chairman, Universal Pictures. “We keep Paul’s memory alive and honor his legacy through continued support of Reach Out WorldWide, the non-profit he founded to give hope to those who must rebuild after they have experienced natural disasters.”
Paul’s family has asked that donations be made to Paul’s charity in lieu of flowers, so we know that this is truly what they — and Paul — would want.
Paul was “overjoyed and full of gratitude” in the hours leading up to his death, eyewitness Jim Tolp said. And the reason was because his charity had just raised about “$1 million worth of toys and games” for the victims of both the Philippines typhoon and of the recent tornados in Indiana.
“It was just an incredible event, full of so much generosity and that’s what Paul and his friend Roger [Rodas] were all about. They were both extremely kind-hearted men,” Torp explained.
Paul established Reach Out Worldwide to be a qu!ck-response, mobile first-aid organization to help in rescue and recovery after major natural disasters around the world.
You too can honor Paul and help the victims of natural disasters by donating to ROWW.
