Femi, an afrobeats maestro and the scion of the legendary musician, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, was given a rousing welcome during the week upon his arrival from a tour of the United States of America.
He was also presented with a car as his 60th birthday gift
Femi and Made, his son whom he was on tour with, were ushered into a warm atmosphere at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos, where some of his family members and loved ones were gathered.
Recall that Femi clocked 60 on June 16, 2022, while he was in the US.
Weeks before that, his sister, Yeni, and other loved ones had given him a golden Selmer saxophone, which the singer cherished, particularly because she had been using his former saxophone for over two decades.
Presenting the car gift to the birthday boy, his sister, Yeni Kuti, thanked him for all he does for the family.
