Popular afro-pop singer, Wande Coal, who fell out with ex-label mate, Donjazzy, has claimed that he never signed a contract with Donjazzy led Mavin records; rather, both parties had a working relationship.
Wande disclosed this in an interview with Vox Africa UK’s “Live at Battersea” with Adesope.
” Everybody knows I’m Black Diamond, and I’ve been with Donjazzy for a while, it was something I really wanted to do, so I decided to start my own outfit, there is no beef or something.
“The song Baby Face was suppose to be on my album, but since we fell out, it was just there because I didn’t have no contract with them,” Wande Coal said.
He gave an insight of what to expect from his forthcoming second album.
“I’m working on my album now which is 95 per cent done and I have great songs on it. I have Burna Boy on it, have got Psquare on it, so it’s gonna be big”, the singer said.
