Kim Kardashian wanted a break from Kanye West before he fell ill

Kim Kardashian asked Kanye West for ‘a break’ because the pair were fighting before he was hospitalised,reports claim.

According to US Weekly, Kim’s Paris gunpoint robbery put an intense strain on the couple and things hadn’t been great between them for weeks.

A source tells US Weekly:

“The trauma of the incident made her more hesitant to do things. Of course it strained their relationship, because she hadn’t seen him.

A source close to Kanye added that the rapper’s work ethic also caused issues, claiming he was “impossible to live with”.

“He would be up all night ranting about things. He’d be up drawing, writing and sketching, or pacing and doing push-ups. he would not calm down and go to bed… They were fighting because he was impossible to live with.”

“She didn’t know if she could take it anymore, and this time she refused to support him.”

Kim’s ordeal in Paris is said to have also reminded the rapper of the death of his mother, Donda.

“The mere thought of his wife being taken from him was too much – it was like his mother’s death. Seeing Kim close to death did a major number on him. It sent him into a tailspin.”

Despite their issues, Kim rushed to be by Kanye’s side when he was taken to hospital last Monday.
