Musician sues Drake for allegedly stealing his beats

Canadian rapper, Drake, is being sued over the song, ‘In My Feelings’ for allegedly sampling a beat without permission to.

Samuel Nicholas III, a musician who goes by the name Sam Skully, is alleging that his beat was sampled on the track. Skully claims that the sample in question was gotten from his song, ‘Roll Call’, released back in 2000. He claims that he was not contacted about the alleged sample.

Skully is also suing Drake over the track, ‘Nice For What’, saying that a part of another one of his beats was taken without his permission.

American musician, Big Freedia, Asylum Records, Cash Money Records, and Republic Records are also included in the suit.
