During the opening day the Nigerian leader met President Mahmadou Issoufou of Niger Republic, President Iddris Deby of Chad and the Zimbabwean president, Robert Mugabe.
The first summit aimed at boosting China-Africa cooperation took place in 2006. One of the main objectives of the historic 2015 event was to outline specific measures aimed at consolidating the growing mutual partnership between Africa and the world’s largest economy, China.
