Pharrell Williams hit single “Happy” was the origin of a woman’s last online post before her unfortunate death.
32 year old Courtney Ann Sanford was driving down the interstate in High Point, N.C over the weekend and veered off the road, crossing a median and crashing head-first into a truck, Gawker reported.
After her death, family and friends brought to officials’ attention that Sanford posted a status about “Happy” just seconds before she died.
Police also noticed Sanford had taken several selfies before the accident.

Sanford was wearing her seatbelt, but it wasn’t used properly. Weisner says he hopes people will remember to refrain from texting/posting and driving.
“As sad as it is, it is a grim reminder for everyone… you just have to pay attention while you are in the car,” reminds Weisner.
It is never ok to Text, post, check email, update etc. while driving. Unfortunately, Sanford and her family had to learn the hard way.
