Music downloads have been one of the reasons why people are current with most of these A-List artists not forgetting the fast rising artists too. Music downloads has also helped artists in making people that consume less data on their smartphones to listen to songs anytime anywhere without their internet connection.

With the advent of Music Streaming and Music Monetization, Streaming platforms like Audiomack, Shopity, iTunes Music, Youtube Music, etc, have made music downloads a little bit “useless” because of improvement on smart phones and how technology have been a major thing to talk about in the society. iPhone’s iTunes Music paved way for other streaming sites after releasing of its IOS phones i.e from iPhone 1-iPhone 11s Max.

Music Downloads have been in existence for years, with the emergence of blogs. The likes of Naijaloaded, Linda Ikeji, Notjustok, TooXclusive made music downloads the best way fans can get artists song and this leads to why Nigerians can’t stop downloading. Although Streaming sites are working ceaselessly to make music downloads minimal, only few Nigerians buy music online.

Furthermore, financial status of Nigerians is amongst the reasons why Nigerians don’t buy songs. Even if they have the money, most of them prefer to wait for download links to download their favourite songs. Digital marketers and Bloggers have also tried their best in making streaming platforms a better place by using Streaming Link as Download Links, still, Nigerians wait till the mp3 downloads link is available before they download.

I am looking forward to the day Nigerians would prefer streaming music to music download. God bless Nigeria.
