- It would be recalled that on the 25th of January, 2013, Iceprince, the 2013 BET awards – Best International Act (Africa) winner, released one of the most anticipated songs of the Year- the monstrous remix to his 2012 hit, Aboki. Iceprincewho is now regarded as Chocolate City’s main breadwinner followed up this single with new singles in May; Gimme Dat andVIP, continuing work with Chopstix as producer. The track VIP was criticized for bearing so much resemblance to his previous singles, Aboki and Aboki Remix. He later released another single – I Swear featuring French Montana.
