The Fête de la Musique, also known or World Music Day, is an annual music celebration that takes place on June 21, the first day of summer in cities around the world.
It originated from France in 1982. In Akwa Ibom State, this year’s celebration with the theme ‘industrializing the Akwa Ibom Music Industry’ The Event will hold as follows:
Venue: G-park Resort, 162 ikot ekpene road, Uyo.

Date: Saturday June 20, 2015 while the main event with keynotes, awards and mega performances by renowned artistes will be on Sunday June 21st by 3pm.
The event is being organized by award winning music program, Muzik Alive AKBC TV in partnership with PMAN, AKS.
The event which is free for all, is expected to be the largest conglomeration of musicians, song writers, producers, video directors, bloggers, on air personalities, Deejays, Record Label execs/mgt, dancers and all lovers of music.
