Radamiz Gratitude Is Gangsta

Radamiz Gratitude Is Gangsta

Arriving off his upcoming EP Synonyms of Strength, the song is Rad’s testament to his Dominican upbringings, rappers past and present that came before him and even the current Black Lives Matter movement that affects all people of color. Outside of spitting some fire bars, the Payday Records signee uses this moment as a perfect example to show and prove why he’s both a student of the game and one of the most promising to be next up. Based off this new single, we believe he’s definitely got what it takes.

Lyrics

[Intro: Brigante]
Synonyms of strength motherfucka

[Chorus: Radamiz]
Gratitude is gangsta and the killers is pussy
I had to talk to a mirror, I had to walk when I couldn’t
I had to break off a friendship, I had to bite every bullet
I had to stall ‘till I was worth it, now let’s finally do it
Gratitude is gangsta and the killers forgiven
I had to talk to a mirror, I had to walk when I couldn’t
I see the Holy Spirit inside all of my women
Ain’t always got it figured out but shit I try ‘till it’s finished

[Verse 1: Radamiz]
There ain’t enough pride to outweigh my dependence on God
I want all the money ever printed without leveraging cause
You made a billion off of bullshit
Now you regret the applause
There ain’t no such thing as misdirection
No such thing as being human and pure
There ain’t enough pride to outweigh my dependence on God
I had to rearrange my body
Dios, Patria, Libertades
I seen my core fanbase switch up, and mountains lift up
Frowns you kept in your underground quiver, the unexpected winner
Baltimore trips then slide through VA
I make a couple thousand then I replay
I’m in a class of my own like a TA
I was in the room for Cass vs. Freeway
I was in the room when Kool Herc learned to DJ
R-A-D-A, damn
I can’t be no king with no heart
How we gon’ all be millionaires if you ain’t playing your part?
I ate the flesh of the shark
I disinfected my squad
How you gon’ make it up to Heaven? You ain’t accepting your dark
Ain’t always keep it 100, I used to chainsmoke the shorts
I had to lie like I was lit, I had to kill the remorse

[Chorus: Radamiz]
Gratitude is gangsta and the killers is pussy
I had to talk to a mirror, I had to walk when I couldn’t
I had to break off a friendship, I had to bite every bullet
I had to stall ‘till I was worth it, now let’s finally do it
Gratitude is gangsta and the killers forgiven
I had to talk to a mirror, I had to walk when I couldn’t
I see the Holy Spirit inside all of my women
Ain’t always got it figured out but shit I try ‘till it’s finished

[Verse 2: Radamiz]
You the type to put on your denim second and shoes first
Itching to kick your people down to boost up your rule huh?
Saying “sorry” was schoolwork
Growing pains felt like tumors
At 17 he got left slain, I’m here forgiving his shooter
5% teachers, Jewish brothers, Boricua neighbors raised us
Juan Luis Guerra and YG in my Jeep Wrangler
Peace to the wind currents that kept your bullets evasive
We can have more spitters sellin than Drizzy, Jermaine and Kendrick
Gimme pure money, long life line and good health
Enthusiasm for when I get in the way of myself
AA meetings from spiking agua bendecida with rum
Bashful street starvin youngins social butterfly with gun
Aye, I’m the hand of the pastor that’s praying over Tekashi
Removing the kamikaze of wildin’ and monetizing the violence for paparazzi
The millionaires I looked up to rarely let off a shotty
I hope they all get second chances to provide for their families
And If I fuck up in public
I need assumption in my favor
And the space to fix my ways up

[Outro: Radamiz]
(I’m talkin’ real life, real life)
Aye, let me ask you something?
When a black man dies
Why is it that usually only the black man cries?
Why is that?
Why do you think that because you are rich
That means you are invincible? No
This is New York, you can still get touched
