In a bid to engage and promote the youth, a reputable record label in Kwara State, BR Nation has secured the signing of three artists to develop their music career.
The artists signed by BR Nation are; Tijani Jamiu Olusanjo with the stage name JAMJAM, Quadri Olashile Ismail with stage name Shilegzy Swazzo, and Olaofe Oluwatobi Vincent with the stage name Vincent.
Speaking after the event, Chief Executive Officer CEO, Richard Olatunji expressed satisfaction with the talent of the young musicians and vowed to sign more to engage the youth in Kwara State.
“The artist impressed me with their talent, character, and love for the music industry.
“However, I was encouraged to make the move to engage the youth and help promote and develop the talent they have in them.
“Actually, my plan is to do more because I believe in the youth and their abilities,” he said.
Explaining the reason behind the decision to create a record label, Richard said his inability to realize his potential as a talented musician prompted him to establish a record label to encourage the youth.
“During my time, I struggled to find a breakthrough in the music industry and that affected my career, growth, and development.
“In order to avoid a repeat to vulnerable youths in the industry and especially in Kwara State, I decided to establish a record label to help promote musicians from the street.
Finally, Richard revealed his aim for the record label is for it to be the biggest in North Central, Nigeria.
“My objective is simple, I am building a record label that will be the biggest and best in the North Central zone. I don’t want to limit it to a zone, I want to promote and develop as many musicians as possible from the street,” he concluded.
