Soldiers and policemen who leaked information to Boko Haram arrested

The Nigerian army has given an update on the crackdown on suspected terrorists collaborators and saboteurs.


This comes after 13 were wounded and many missing during a surprise Boko Haram attack on troops at Gashigar in the north of Borno State.

According to a statement by the Acting Director Army Public Relations,Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman
Please be informed the ongoing investigation on suspected Boko Haram terrorists collaborators and saboteurs in the fight against terrorism and insurgency has led to the arrest of 9 more persons over the last 24 hours, thus bringing the number to 32, this comprise of 2 officers, 2 soldiers, 2 policemen and 26 civilians. Many more suspects would be arrested and prosecuted based on evidences against them and level of culpability.
