ADÉ, previously known to the hip hop world as Phil Adé, delivered his second single of the year on Friday, the infectious “Replacements.” ADÉ officially launched his rebrand last year with the release of his first project under his new moniker, Always Something. The album included features from Lil Baby, Goldlink, Wale, Rich The Kid, and Fatman Scoop, and he followed this impressive body of work with his first release of 2020, “Don’t Cry” featuring Trevor Jackson. Now, the DMV rapper has returned with his latest offering, “Replacements,” continuing his new era the right way.

On “Replacements,” ADÉ rhymes over a bouncy beat, embodying nothing but pure joy. He also dropped some one-shot style visuals for “Replacements,” that show him making his way through a party that appears to be taking place in a grocery store or a very large bodega. The rapper is currently prepping for the release of his forthcoming EP, wyd after?, which is slated to drop on May 15th.
