Alex Warren drops “Eternity,” a song processing parental loss. The Atlantic Records single leads his debut album You’ll Be Alright, Kid.
Alex Warren released “Eternity” on July 18, 2025, as the fourth single and opening track of his debut album You’ll Be Alright, Kid. The American singer-songwriter co-wrote the song with Adam Yaron, Cal Shapiro, and Mags Duval, with Yaron handling production. Warren created the track to process the loss of both parents—his father to cancer during his childhood and his mother to alcohol-related causes.

In a Los Angeles Times interview, Warren noted listeners interpreted the song as romantic despite its grief theme, comparing this response to Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved.” The minimalist production features acoustic instrumentation, vocal harmonies, and a subdued choir, highlighting Warren’s baritone delivery. The album and single released simultaneously through Atlantic Records, marking Warren’s transition from social media content creation to music.
