Daniel Caesar releases his new album “Son Of Spergy,” which features the track “Emily’s Song.” The three-minute song appears as part of the full collection, co-produced by Caesar with his frequent collaborators Sir Dylan and Sean Leon. The album arrives through his Hollace Inc. imprint under exclusive license to Republic Records.
This project follows Caesar’s trajectory of crafting introspective R&B that examines faith and relationships, a style he established with his breakthrough project “Freudian.” That earlier work helped define a new soul aesthetic and garnered a Grammy, setting a precedent for the deeply personal songwriting that continues on this new album.
