Olatunji Oladotun Alade was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria and originates from the Yoruba ethnic group in South-Western Nigeria. Inspired by artists like Da Grin, Davido and Olamide, he credits the start of his music career to him winning a rap competition at the University of Lagos.
