Greta Van Fleet ends a near three-year silence with a swaggering, unapologetic return. The American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan dropped “Play Your Games” on May 29, 2026 via Republic Records and Lava Music LLC. The track marks the group’s first new music since their 2023 album Starcatcher and serves as a loud, definitive answer to recent rumors of a breakup. Recorded and co-produced in Tennessee by the band alongside acclaimed producer Mike Elizondo, the single pulls from one of their oldest demos, channelling the raw, instinctive energy of their earliest days in small Michigan clubs. Guitarist Jake Kiszka describes the song as “this beautiful nature of seizing a moment.”
