Fast-rising Nigerian pop artist and producer IDAHAMS is back and ready to make a splash this summer with a brand new remix of his hit single “Wetin No Good.” The original single gained massive popularity, amassing nearly five million global streams and going viral on TikTok. It also received critical acclaim from various music platforms, including BBC 1Xtra, Clash Magazine, Music Week, Rinse FM, Earmilk, and Notion Magazine.
Set to be released on July 20 by Grafton Records, the “Wetin No Good” remix takes the already infectious pop track to extraordinary heights. The remix features the boisterous afrobeats artist and renowned dancer, Eltee Skhillz, as well as the exciting new Nigerian rapper, Dandizzy. While the afrobeats and amapiano fusion, magical drum patterns, and thumping bassline from the original remain intact, the addition of Eltee Skhillz’s infectious verse and Dandizzy’s witty wordplay elevates the song even further.
Accompanying the remix is a captivating music video starring IDAHAMS, Eltee Skhillz, and Dandizzy. Shot on location in Lagos and directed by the award-winning Nigerian filmmaker, Promise Charles, the visuals bring the song’s themes of love, sex, and relationships to life. The video portrays all three leading men vying for the affection of the same love interest, only to realize that she is ready to serve them all a dose of heartbreak, known in Nigerian slang as “hot breakfast.”
