On the heels of “Try Me” — Jorja Smith’s inaugural release on her own label, FAMM — the English singer songwriter has shared another new single. “Little Things” is an addictive jam built on a hyperkinetic, modernized U.K. garage instrumental. Against this backdrop, Smith sings about the myriad, minuscule moving parts that make up a successful, stimulating relationship. “It’s the little things that get me high,” she sings on the hook. “Won’t you come with me and spend the night?”

“The song is pretty self-explanatory,” Smith says in a press release. “I had a lil’ concoction — rum, ting, and a magnum. When we started creating this song I was just imagining hearing this walking into a party and seeing someone I’d had my eye on. It’s fun!”

The track comes with a Bolade Banjo-directed visual treatment that matches its constantly moving ethos. Shot at a genuinely fun-looking party in Peckham, London, the video splices vox pops on the themes of attraction and love language into Smith’s lively performance. According to Banjo, the short was inspired by “a snog with someone you’re crushing on,” among other things.
