KFMD does not release music alone. The Nigerian singer-songwriter and performer, who has built a reputation for fusing Afrobeats with R&B and pop, treats his singles as gatherings. “Come Slide” is his largest assembly yet. The track, dropped in late May via MAD Capital Partners under exclusive license to MAD Solutions LLC, brings together Qing Madi, BNXN, and Victony. Four artists on a three-minute record is a gamble. The production team—Benjamin Lasnier, Daniel Julian, and JoffStar—builds a beat that breathes, a smooth Afro-R&B blend heavy on melody and light on percussion. The result is a song that moves without rushing. Lasnier, whose polished touch appears on previous KFMD singles like “Pepper Me,” delivers a soundscape that gives each artist enough room to operate.
Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, known as Qing Madi, arrived in 2023 as a teenage phenomenon. Born in Benin City on July 1, 2006, she blended Afrobeats, soul, and R&B into a sound that earned her a spot on the Adult choir before she turned fifteen. Her 2023 self-titled EP contained “Ole,” a collaboration with BNXN that became a streaming hit. Her 2024 album “I Am the Blueprint” cracked Apple Music Nigeria’s top five. BNXN, born Daniel Etiese Benson in Lagos on May 14, 1997, once recorded as Buju. He caught the ear of listeners as a singer who could also produce. His 2025 album Captain reached number one on the Nigerian Apple Music Albums chart. His Bad Since ’97 project has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. Victony, born Anthony Ebuka Victor in Orlu, Imo State, started as a SoundCloud rapper in 2017 before pivoting to melody. His 2023 breakout “Holy Father” cracked the top 20 of the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. In 2025, he won Album of the Year at the African Entertainment Awards USA for his sophomore album Stubborn.

“Come Slide” appeared on streaming services on May 22, 2026, with no accompanying music video. The official audio is streaming on YouTube. The lyrics land as a conversation between four perspectives. The chorus repeats a single proposition: “Got what you need / So why you shy, come slide.” Qing Madi handles the hook, her voice warm and unhurried. BNXN and Victony take the verses. BNXN’s delivery is smooth but sharp, a catalogue of late-night promises. Victony follows with a verse about flights, luxury watches, and the simple math of wanting someone.
