The lead single to Miley Cyrus’ eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, “Flowers”, will be released January 13, 2023. The single was announced on New Year’s Eve, just a few hours before New Year’s Day, 2023, on social media with a video of her, and in the caption she says, “NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY, NEW SINGLE. FLOWERS JANUARY 13”. Twenty minuets after the first teaser, Cyrus posted a second teaser. Some of the track’s lyrics were found on posters. The date of release, January 13 2023, is the birthday of Cyrus’ ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth. On January 9, 2023, Cyrus announced the times the track will be released, with a new teaser.
