Nigerian singer, songwriter, and engineer Nissi Ogulu does not make music by accident. The London‑based artist, who holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick, has spent the better part of a decade building a catalog that refuses to sit inside a single box. Signed to Spaceship Entertainment—the label founded by her brother, Grammy‑winning Afrobeats titan Burna Boy—Nissi has released a string of EPs and singles, including “Ignite,” “Nobody” featuring Fireboy DML, and the Olamide‑assisted “Motivate.” In early 2026, she sold out London’s Jazz Cafe, where she gave fans a first live taste of “OVA.” Now, the studio version has officially arrived.
