Zero 7, consisting of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker, first achieved major recognition in the early 2000s with their debut album “Simple Things.” That record became a defining work of the downtempo and chillout genre, known for its lush arrangements and standout vocal features from artists like Sia and Sophie Barker. Their sound, characterized by sophisticated electronica and jazz influences, has maintained a dedicated following across subsequent albums. Not for Radio, the project of vocalist María Zardoya and producer Gianluca Buccellati, crafts indie folk-pop marked by melodic warmth and introspective lyrics.
