Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, known as ODUMODUBLVCK, carries the weight of expectation on every bar. The Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter, born in Lagos, rose from the underground collective Anti-World Gangstars to become one of the most distinctive voices in his country’s new rap wave. His 2023 mixtape Eziokwu produced “Declan Rice,” a track so culturally potent it reached the Arsenal footballer himself. That momentum carried into 2024 with a BET Hip Hop Award nomination. By the end of 2025, he released INDUSTRY MACHINE, a 23-track debut album that pulled in Skepta, Wizkid, Stormzy, Davido, Saweetie, Cash Cobain, Pa Salieu, Giggs, Patoranking, and Seun Kuti. The project made history as the first hip-hop album to reach No. 1 in Nigeria on Turntable Charts. He is the fastest Nigerian rapper to surpass 100 million streams across all credits on Spotify.

Zlatan, born Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael in Ikorodu, Lagos, operates from a different lane. The Nigerian rapper, singer, and founder of Zanku Records named himself after the famous footballer and spent years building a reputation for energetic delivery, slang-heavy style, and the culture-shifting Zanku dance wave. His debut album Zanku (2019) acronym means “Zlatan Abeg No Kill Us.” He has since released Resan and the star-studded Symbol of Hope (SOH). His 2026 Omo Ologo EP continues his run. The two artists have history. They previously collaborated on “Picanto” and “Oganigwe,” both of which became underground favorites.
