Joel Ofori Bonsu, known as Olivetheboy, does not release singles alone anymore. The Ghanaian Afrobeats singer and songwriter from Konongo assembles a team for “Daashi (Caashi).” The track, released in mid-May 2026 via Loop Music Ltd, features Beeztrap KOTM, Lami Jnr, and Pinto Black. Production comes from Beatzvampire, the Ghanaian hitmaker who has shaped Olivetheboy’s sound since his breakout. The song runs three minutes and moves with a bounce that refuses to sit still.
Olivetheboy first turned heads with “Goodsin” in 2023, a track that became the most streamed Ghanaian song in the first half of that year and earned him a spot as Apple Music’s Up Next artist. He followed that momentum with the “Out of the Blue” album in 2025 and signed a two-year deal with Columbia Records that ended peacefully in early 2026. Now back with his local label Vampire, he leans into collaboration. “Daashi (Caashi)” brings in Beeztrap KOTM, a leading figure in Ghana’s Asakaa drill scene from Kumasi, born Edwin Eshun. Beeztrap KOTM won Best New Artiste at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards. Lami Jnr and Pinto Black, both emerging voices in the Ghanaian trap and hip-hop space, round out the feature list. Lami Jnr dropped “Die In Traphouse 2” with Pinto Black earlier in 2026.

The production credits belong to Beatzvampire, born Peter Asare-Bediako, a 27-year-old producer who has crafted hits for KiDi, Shatta Wale, and Mr Drew. He produced Olivetheboy’s “Goodsin” and reached number one on Apple Music Nigeria with BNXN’s “Very Soon” in 2025.
