The daughter of Diana Ross has carved out her own lane in the entertainment industry, but she’s recently recorded and released her first single, “Love Myself,” for the soundtrack of her film The High Note. Tracee first shared the song while on Instagram Live and the actress was overcome with emotion as the track played. She shared with viewers that she’d always wanted to pursue a career in music, but she’d been too afraid to step into that creative space. With a mother like Diana Ross, we can only imagine the pressure she felt.
Tracee Ellis Ross had tons of supporters watching her Live including her mother, her siblings, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and many more. The Rodney Jerkins-produced single will be featured in The High Note as Ross’s music superstar character will reportedly deliver a performance.
