TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung appear on the end-credits version of “Takedown,” the lead single from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack released through Republic Records and issued to global streaming and broadcast outlets the same day the film premiered on Netflix. Producers Michel “Lindgren” Schulz and Ian Eisendrath shaped the record’s arrangement and supervised vocal production to suit the trio’s strengths.

The soundtrack also features the in-film performance by the fictional group Huntr/x, voiced by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, which gives editors and supervisors two licensed versions to use in programming and licensing. Republic Records released a limited seven-inch vinyl edition as a collector’s item and the Twice recording appears on the deluxe edition of the group’s fourth Korean studio album, This Is For.
