The Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. communicates with his animal friends and embarks on an adventure in the trailer of Dolittle.
The last Dolittle movies which starred comedian Eddie Murphy didn’t leave a good lasting impression and this time, Downey steps into the shoes of the famed doctor and veterinarian, with a new setting (Queen Victoria’s England).

Based on the character created by Hugh Lofting, the upcoming American fantasy comedy film directed by Stephen Gaghan features Dr John Dolittle retreat behind the walls of Dolittle Manor after the death of his wife seven years prior, with only his exotic animals for company.

When the young queen (Jessie Buckley) falls gravely ill, Dolittle reluctantly sets sail to a mythical island in search of a cure, crossing paths with adversaries and making wondrous discoveries.
A lot of fantasy movies have graced the big screen and we can only hope that Downey’s upcoming project will bring something new to the table.
Dolittle will be in movie theatres on January 17, 2020.
