Celebrated Nigerian musical duo, The Cavemen., have marked the anniversary of their 2022 hit “Adaugo” by dropping its official music video. The release comes at the end of a successful year for the duo and is accompanied by the announcement of new tour dates in Europe and the UK.

The Cavemen., consisting of brothers Kingsley and Benjamin Chukwudi on bass and drums, respectively, are known for their innovative take on Highlife music. They have garnered acclaim both at home and abroad, and 2023 has seen them perform at major festivals in the UK, Europe, and Africa, including Montreux Jazz, Love Supreme, and Lowlands. They headlined a sold-out show at London’s Koko Camden, opened for Afrobeats star WizKid at Tottenham Stadium, and collaborated with Davido on his hit album “Timeless.”
The “Adaugo” video, directed by Dalia Das and conceived by Wavy the Creator, is set against the lush backdrop of Lagos, Nigeria. It beautifully captures the organic nature and depth of The Cavemen.’s music.
