Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele has released a trailer for her star-studded upcoming TV series, ‘Jenifa’s Diary’. The upcoming TV series stars Banky W, Waje, Beverly Osu, Lota Chukwu, Alex Ekubo, Ali Nuhu, Juliana Olayode, Amechi Mounagor, Wunmi Obe and more.
The actress earlier announced the comeback of her hit movie, ‘Jenifa’ to the small screen. According to Funke, she realised people love to hear that part ofJenifa in her. ‘I actually wanted the character to take a deserving rest but I’m amazed that many years after, the Jenifa character still resonates.
Anywhere I go, it is welcome, and people love to see, hear that part of Jenifa in me. I want to believe that my portrayal of Jenifa this time will be loved more by the viewers of the drama series.’
