#BBNaija: FG files official complaint to NBC

The Federal Government of Nigeria has filed a complaint about BBNaija to the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The Director-General of National Council for Arts and Culture, Segun Runsewe, said that the love affair scenes going on at Big Brother Naija house is terrible.

He disclosed this while hosting the president of the National Council of Women Societies, Dr Gloria Shoda, and her team. Runsewe further said that he would take up the issue with NBC.

We are going to represent that bill. You can’t fight a battle without a legal framework; we are definitely going to be conscious of that. I will take up the issue of Big Brother Naija; I have spoken with officials of the National Broadcasting Commission because what is going on now is terrible. The federal government’s decision to lodge a complaint about the reality show to the NBC may be linked to the recent discovery that one of its housemates, Khafi, disobeyed her boss’ orders not to participate in it.
