If you don’t climax, it can cause a heavy or aching feeling. This discomfort will go away with time, but can also be relieved more quickly by having an Org*sm.
There is a phenomenon that happens to men when they are aroused but do not get that release. It is usually referred to as ‘blue balls.’ This is when the man feel a very intense pain in his scrotum and it can last for a few minutes. Do women also have a down side when they do not get the Org*sm they crave? Evidently, they do.
Here are five things that happen to women when they do not find their release.
1. Vascocongestion
According to the experts at the University of California, Santa Barbara, vascocongestion, or“blue vulva” is the discomfort of unreleased pelvic congestion. During S3xual arousal your vulva, uterus, and ovaries swell with blood. If you don’t climax, it can cause a heavy or aching feeling. This discomfort will go away with time, but can also be relieved more quickly by having an Org*sm.
2. Increased Flowback
Biologist and author Dr. Robin Baker studied post-coital flowback which is “that collection of material that flows back out of the Vag!na sometime after intercourse.” He found that there were fewer sperm in the flowback of women who had Org*sms versus those who didn’t. This means that you may have a harder time getting pregnant if you don’t climax during intercourse.
3. Decrease in S3x Drive
Org*sms release oxytocin which helps produce feelings of bonding and attachment and can increase your S3xual desire. Certified Clinical S3xologist Dawn Michael writes on Wellness.com that by not Org*sming, you may actually decrease your desire for S3x. The good news is that you can increase your low S3x drive by having more frequent Org*sms.
4. Depression
As Naomi Wolf, author of Vag!na: A Cultural History, told Time. Women who don’t Org*sm often experience S3xual frustration which can lead to depression. “If as a woman, you are frustrated S3xually and even worse, aroused but denied release, your dopamine system eventually diminishes in anticipation of S3x,” she said. “With low dopamine activation, you will suffer from a lack of ambition or drive.” Not being able to Org*sm can also cause low self-esteem which can worsen your depression symptoms.
5. Cervical Infection
In her book S3x: A Natural History, Joann Ellison Rodgers wrote that a female Org*sm can decrease cervical infections by promoting good bacteria and flushing out unfriendly bacteria from the cervix. This suggests that if you don’t Org*sm, the unhealthy bacteria that stays inside of you may put you at an increased risk for cervical infections.
