Kygo Dancing Feet
On “Dancing Feet,” Kygo brings DNCE out of their three-year-long hiatus for an upbeat pop banger that features the band’s lead singer, Joe Jonas, singing about the loneliness he feels when his wife, Sophie Turner, is not home at the time.
Joe had been teasing the song on social media since mid-January 2022, in which fans predicted DNCE’s comeback based on the sound of the song and the band’s social media accounts being active at the time. On February 7, 2022, he and DNCE announced the return of the band. Kygo shared the song’s release date and cover art on February 20, 2022.
The official music video for the song premiered on February 28, 2022, coinciding with the three-year anniversary of the reunion of the Jonas Brothers, Joe’s other band with his brothers, Nick and Kevin. It was originally set to be released three days ago alongside the song’s release, but was pushed back in support of the Ukraine-Russia conflict at the time.
