Lupe Fiasco, one of the most respected yet somewhat underrated lyricists of the mid-2000s, is giving fans a dose of nostalgia with his single “Out There.” However, it’s not being officially released on his streaming accounts, nor is it a standalone single. The track is available under the profile Chill’s Spotlight, which has been around for about four years and specializes in releasing underground tracks that haven’t seen the light of day. There are several Lupe Fiasco tracks on this account, and “Out There” is one of them.

Dedicated fans of Lupe Fiasco will recognize this track as it was originally intended for his debut album, “Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor.” Originally titled “Real Recognize Real (Pills),” it was eventually replaced on the album. However, it did make it onto a leaked version of the project.
