Shirin David & Kitty Kat Be A Hoe

On the third single of her album Bitches Need Rap, Shirin David featured the surprise guest Kitty Kat. The song is a typical representative track in which the two rap about their skills. The song title is based on a sample from the song “Break a Hoe”, where the sample actually reads “see a hoe, break a hoe”.

Kitty Kat was one of the first known female actors in the German rap scene and was under contract with German rap label Aggro Berlin. Most German rap fans know her for her feature on Sido’s song “Strip für mich”, which is her most successful release to date. Although Kitty Kat still released songs in 2020 and 2021, she could no longer build on her old successes.

Shirin David posted a snippet of her part on Instagram four days before the release. She kept the feature of the song a secret until it was released, but said it was her first female feature. A day before the release, she gave another reference to the feature and said it was “Germany’s greatest female rapper”. Since Kitty Kat hasn’t been too successful since her success in the 2000s, the “tallest” in this case is literal and related to height. In the song itself, she specifies this as 180 cm.
