Students at Drake (the university) in Des Moines, Iowa, have been trying for years to get Drake (the rapper) to visit their campus. Now, in a blessed twist of fate, it looks like they may be one step closer to making that dream a reality.
On Friday, Drake announced he and Future are bringing their co-headlining Summer Sixteen tour to Des Moines on Oct. 4. Drake University had the perfect response to the news, releasing a statement on its website that’s peppered with puns from the rapper’s lyrics.
