On the heels of her international success and the current evolution in the Nigerian entertainment industry, DJ Cuppy continues her dominance in the African showbiz industry and she has released some promo photos to this effect.

Currently signed to Roc Nation and Red Velvet Music Group, Cuppy has been deejaying since she was 16 years.

She started off in London and has since grown in the craft, earning herself a slot to play as the resident DJ for the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban, South Africa.

DJ Cuppy was born in Lagos, Nigeria and lived around Illupeju and Ikeja before leaving the country to study Business Economics at King’s College London.

She graduated from King’s College in July 2014 and added a master’s degree in Music Business from the New York University in May, 2016.

The 23-year-old is the daughter of billionaire industrialist Femi Otedola.

She also plays as the in-house DJ for the MTV show, Uncommon Sense.
