Lateef Habib popularly known as SireHabbiibb has built a reputable personal brand and name in the creative marketing space in Nigeria, he’s grown from being a regular social media user to a marketing creative that have overseen numerous marketing campaigns, hosted marketing classes, h, managed public brands and regularly share marketing gems using his different platforms while running a hustle on the side.
With the spike in the rate of tech-inclined jobs in Nigeria, smart young people are tapping into these to make a living and make an impact at large.
When asked for insight into the work he does, he simply says “it’s a means to impact and of course make money, so whether I’m writing or teaching, or getting briefs done at the office, the goal is to do good works that’ll last time and to share essential life-knowledge while at it.
“I really can’t pick one thing as the high point because everything has contributed to who I am today and my career is just starting. There’s so much more ahead.”,
Habib said when asked about the major highlight of his career.
When asked about his motivation, he mentioned that his “biggest motivation is the fear of failing myself, God and my mum”, he is also deeply motivated “by people who I inspire, who learn from me, who are motivated to start something because of what I am doing. I want to keep impacting lives.”
He mentioned his love for history and marketing-related books and says his favorite all-time brand is Apple. Habib loves to travel amongst other recreation and enjoys the company of family and friends.
Young Nigerians hoping to tap into the marketing tech space now have where to put in more minds and eyes in order to be like the best.
Brands will always need marketing and advertising and when they do, there should be competent hands to take on roles that matter.
