Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, yesterday disclosed that the agency was carrying out discreet investigations on government officials working in the present administration.
Magu disclosed this when he paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the National Union of Textiles and Garment Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN) in Kaduna yesterday October 25th.
He said President Buhari has given him the order to investigate every Nigerian irrespective of party affiliation.
“We have cause to investigate and in fact we are investigating even those that are in government without them knowing. The president has given me the mandate to investigate every Nigerian irrespective of political affiliation”he said.
