Guchi x Yemi Alade premieres the OVIE-directed music video for their “I Swear” collaboration produced by Chech.

Preceded by its dance challenge in the thousands, Guchi has shared the visuals for her latest viral hit- I Swear, which features veteran pop star Yemi Alade. The video was shot in Accra, Ghana and it adorns a colourful perspective through the directorial lens of Ovie. Beautifully executed through storytelling and rich hue, the smitten characters confess their love in parallel plots with Guchi roleplaying as a teenager who falls in love for the first time in high school.
Tiktokers are not left out as Guchi and Yemi Alade perform the signature dance routine in honor of her fans who have populated social media with videos of themselves displaying to the song. Produced by Chech, I Swear is the second single off Guchi’s new six-track project-Purple Diary, following the earlier released “Shattered”.
